Year 5 looked at Rivers Around the world as their first half of summer term topic. They learned about the River Nile in class and researched facts about other rivers around the world. They learned where our water comes from, how it is becoming a scarce resource and how some countries in the world do not have access to clean water. With global warming and climate change the problem of fresh water is going to be even greater.
