During lockdown some of the focus that had built up over Climate Change had been eclipsed but with COP26 hosted by the UK this year it was back on the agenda. Greta Thunberg has been inspirational to children and young people across the world showing that they do have a voice and it will be heard. Reading about her actions to encourage world leaders to take climate change seriously motivated Year 6 to write to our Prime Minister and the Leader of the Opposition to ask them to make this meeting of nations really count and set immediate targets to reduce global warming.
